 Testimonials

“In 2016, I learned that I was expecting my firstborn child and I learned that my mother's cancer had returned. In a few short months, I lost my mother, my mentor, my rock, and found myself devastated and completely unprepared to transform into becoming a mother when I just lost the only one I knew. Thankfully, I was given the name of Mothers Care during a routine prenatal appointment. I immediately scheduled time to meet Allison, knowing that the only way I would make it through this pregnancy was with help. From the time of my mom's passing to the week I gave birth, I was provided with the strength, courage, and support that I so desperately needed. Her specialization in pre- and postpartum care and genuine compassion gave me the tools to bring my happy and healthy baby boy into the world and I am forever grateful."

“Shortly after my son was born I knew something was going terribly wrong with my emotions. After seeing my OB GYN it was recommended I see a therapist for post partum depression. I feel so fortunate to have found Mothers Care. I'm on disability with a very tight budget and had it not been for my free 2 sessions I wouldn't have been able to start to get the support I needed. I ended up gaining a lot from those two sessions and understanding that I was also suffering from postpartum anxiety.”
